September 2021 Competition Roundtable: The Darkest Side of Rising Concentration — Fear and Retaliation in Antitrust
In September 2021, AAI will host a competition roundtable: The Darkest Side of Rising Concentration — Fear and Retaliation in Antitrust. AAI competition roundtables cover various issues and sectors, ranging from pharmaceuticals, to digital technology, airlines, energy, food and agriculture, and real estate. The roundtable will bring together experts to discuss how the growth in dominant firms and oligopolies discourages plaintiffs and vulnerable market participants from stepping forward with competitive concerns. Among other questions, the roundtable will focus on the implications of this disturbing pattern for bringing and litigating public and private antitrust cases. The September 2021 date for this roundtable will be announced soon.
