AAI Letter to Minnesota House of Representatives About Restrictive Paperless Ticketing
Today, the American Antitrust Institute (AAI) sent a letter to members of the Minnesota House of Representatives encouraging support for House File 657, a bill that the AAI says promotes fairness and will benefit consumers, workers, local businesses, and the local economy. The bill addresses problems related to restrictive paperless ticketing which unnecessarily and unreasonably limits consumer choice and restrains marketplace competition. Restrictive paperless ticketing is anti-competitive and anti-consumer and should be prohibited.
