AAI Letter to House Judiciary on SMARTER Act

The American Antitrust Institute (AAI) submitted a letter today to the House Committee on the Judiciary Subcommittee on Regulatory Reform, Commercial and Antitrust Law regarding the “Standard Merger and Acquisition Reviews through Equal Rules Act of 2014” (the “SMARTER Act”). The AAI raised concerns about the proposals and urged that careful study is needed.
