The AAI has filed a third round of comments with the U.S. Department of Transportation in response to the IATA Resolution 787 proposal. The AAI’s third round of comments responds to the Department’s Tentative Decision, issued May 21, 2014, approving the Resolution subject to enumerated conditions, including one condition expressly disclaiming approval of any agreement among rivals for a new distribution standard. In its comments, the AAI agrees with the Department’s substantive conclusions but warns of potential complications regarding the Department’s approval language.
