Slade Bond

Chair of Public Policy and Legislative Affairs

Cuneo Gilbert LaDuca, LLP

Slade Bond is Chair of the Public Policy practice at Cuneo Gilbert & LaDuca, LLP. He previously held senior roles in both the Executive Branch and Congress, most recently serving as Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General in the Department of Justice’s Office of Legislative Affairs under Attorney General Merrick B. Garland. In that role, he managed the Department’s top legislative priorities and advised senior officials on policy, confirmations, and congressional oversight. Previously, he served as Chief Counsel of the House Antitrust Subcommittee, where he directed the landmark digital markets investigation and helped oversee the passage of 19 laws in just four years. He has lectured widely on antitrust law, the legislative process, and congressional oversight, including at Stanford Law School, Georgetown University Law Center, Yale School of Management, and Vanderbilt Law School.

Bond earned his LL.M. from The George Washington University Law School, his J.D. from the University of Kansas School of Law, and his B.A. from the University of Mary Washington.
