AAI Vice President of Legal Advocacy Randy Stutz spoke at the Annual Policy Summit of Responsive Law, which brings together lawyers, scholars, and other experts to promote better, more affordable access to the legal system. Stutz spoke about the potential role of antitrust litigation as a tool to prevent anticompetitive actions undertaken by bar associations in the aftermath of the Supreme Court’s holding in North Carolina Board of Dental Examiners v. FTC. Stutz previously authored a leading white paper tracing the recent history of the occupational licensing reform movement from both a legal and political perspective, and exploring case law and legislative developments in the aftermath of the Dental Examiners case.
