  • Overview

AAI’s Vice President and Director of Legal Advocacy, Kathleen Bradish, spoke on the panel and Q&A at the Virginia State Bar’s CLE program, The Google Ad Tech Case: Legal and Business Implications for Virginia Technology, on April 29, 2025. From the program description:

The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ)-led advertising technology antitrust case against Google in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia raises the possibility of a reshaping of the digital advertising market for Virginia-based tech firms, startups, and other technology businesses, which may lead to altered compliance requirements and require strategic adjustments to legal and business practices. With closing arguments in this important trial having concluded in November, you are invited to join the Virginia State Bar for a Continuing Legal Education (CLE) program examining the legal theories at play, the potential impact of the case on Virginia companies, and considerations for businesses navigating evolving antitrust enforcement trends.
