  • Overview

AAI’s Vice President and Director of Legal Advocacy Kathleen Bradish joined the R Street Institute’s panel, “The Live Nation/Ticketmaster Case and Competition in Live Event Markets.” From the description:

In 2024, the U.S. Department of Justice and more than half of states filed a complaint accusing Ticketmaster and its parent company, Live Nation Entertainment, of illegally monopolizing multiple parts of the live event industry. Public frustration with live event ticketing is at an all-time high, but is this antitrust case necessary or sufficient to alleviate competitive issues in the industry? Is there anything the administration could do to address price, quality, and transparency in live event ticketing as the case slowly moves forward?

  • [Moderator] Canyon Brimhall, Senior Manager, Federal Government Affairs, R Street Institute
  • Tirzah Duren, President, American Consumer Institute
  • Kathleen Bradish, Vice President and Director of Legal Advocacy, American Antitrust Institute
  • Josh Withrow, Resident Fellow, Technology and Innovation, R Street Institute
