AAI’s Diana Moss joined Georgetown Center for Business and Public Policy’s Georgetown on the Hill: Merger Guidelines for an in-depth discussion of the newly released draft Merger Guidelines. From the panel description:
The much-anticipated draft Merger Guidelines have been released by the U.S. Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission.
The Georgetown Center for Business and Public Policy is pleased to host this Georgetown on the Hill event designed to provide a first-look discussion of the proposed Merger Guidelines. The event will inform academics, lawyers, businesspeople and the general public what is in the newly proposed guidelines, what changes have been made from the 2010 Guidelines, how the proposed changes may affect firms and markets, and their potential reception by the courts.
This event will include opening remarks from prominent members of the FTC and the Department of Justice, and a moderated panel discussion featuring antitrust experts from the legal and economic arenas.
