  • Overview

Diana Moss is honored to join a panel of experts at the ABA’s 70th Annual Antitrust Law Spring Meeting in Washington DC on Wednesday from 3:30 – 5:00 pm to discuss the debate around the consumer welfare standard. The ABA’s description of the panel is:

RESOLVED: THE CONSUMER WELFARE STANDARD MUST (NOT) CHANGE

Presented by the Legislation Committee

For more than 40 years, the consumer welfare standard has guided antitrust policy and enforcement. But today the enforcement agencies, the White House, and Congress are debating whether that standard must change to accommodate the economic realities of the 21st century. Hear two sides debate whether the time is ripe for such a change.
