AAI Vice President of Policy Laura Alexander joined the California Lawyers Association forum on Consolidation in Health Care “Antitrust Implications of Healthcare Provider Consolidation” to discuss recent trends in concentration in health care markets nationally and in California, and their impacts on competition.
The panelists included a cross section of academics, policymakers, and practitioners, all with deep experience in health care and competition law. The panel was moderated by Steve Vieux. Alexander was joined by panelists: Dr. Richard Scheffler, Distinguished Professor of Health Economics and Policy, University of California at Berkeley; and Michelle Lowery, Partner, McDermott Will & Emery.
