Date: June 22, 2001

The 2001 annual conference followed an election and was appropriately titled, “New Economy, New Regime.” The newly appointed Chairman of the FTC Timothy Muris presented the Antitrust Achievement Award to his predecessor Robert Pitofsky. The keynote address “Some Principles for Post-Chicago Antitrust Analysis” was presented by F.M. Scherer. The papers for this conference were published in 52 Case Western Reserve Law Review.
