Stephen Calkins to Offer Key Observations at AAI International Roundtable

Wayne State University Law Professor Stephen Calkins will offer observations on the year in international antitrust at the AAI International Roundtable on Wednesday, February 8, in Washington D.C. 

Calkins will speak to experts from business, academia, law, and government in the U.S. and abroad who will gather to discuss major competition enforcement and policy issues on the global antitrust agenda. The Roundtable will consist of Calkins’ introductory review of key developments in the year, three panels, and a keynote luncheon address. Each panel is followed by a moderated discussion among the panelists and the audience.  The overview is available here.

Professor Stephen Calkins returned to Wayne Law in fall semester 2015 after serving as a member of The Competition Authority of Ireland and director of its Mergers Division and later as a member of the melded Competition and Consumer Protection Commission of Ireland from 2011 to 2015. While in Ireland, he also served as an adjunct professor at University College Dublin Sutherland School of Law.
