The AAI announced today that Eduardo Pérez Motta, former chairman of the Mexican Federal Competition Commission and former chair of the International Competition Network, will deliver the keynote luncheon address during the AAI International Antitrust Roundtable on Wednesday, February 8, in Washington, D.C. Eduardo Pérez Motta was president of the Federal Competition Commission from 2004 to 2013. In 2012, he was elected president of the International Competition Network that groups together over 130 competition agencies worldwide. Mr. Pérez Motta was appointed chairman of the Mexican Federal Competition Commission in September 2004. Between 2001 and 2004, Mr. Pérez Motta was Mexico’s Ambassador to the World Trade Organization. Currently, he is an economic consultant at Agon Consulting and is a member of the AAI Advisory Board.
