AAI President to Speak on Exelon-PEPCO at University of the District of Columbia

On Wednesday, April 8, AAI President Diana Moss will join public interest advocates to examine the question of whether or not Exelon¹s proposed purchase of PEPCO is in the public interest.

The first panel, which will begin at 7 p.m., will include DC Council member Mary Cheh; Tim Judson, Executive Director of the Nuclear Information & Resource Service; Tyson Slocum,  Director of Energy at Public Citizen and UDC law student Jessica Christy who will argue the pro-Exelon takeover case.

The second panel of legal experts will begin at 8:30 and will include Diana Moss; Attorney and Georgetown Law Professor Scott Hempling, DC People's Counsel Sandra Mattavous-Frye; and Maryland People's Counsel Paula Carmody.
