Gifts and Campaigns

The antitrust community generously supports AAI’s important work on competition enforcement and policy issues through a variety of gifts and campaigns.

Special Gifts
The AAI receives special gifts that recognize AAI's unique role in, impact on, and history of promoting competition that protects business, consumers, and society. These gifts come from a variety of sources and supporters. Most recently, the law firm of Freedman Boyd Hollander Goldberg Urias & Ward P.A. made a generous gift to the AAI, recognizing AAI's mission and the legacy of Founder Albert Foer. Long-time AAI Advisory Board member and Senior Shareholder in the firm, Joseph Goldberg, is widely recognized as one of the most respected antitrust litigators and teachers in the nation. Goldberg and his firm have been important supporters of the AAI almost from its inception.

Campaign for the Future
In celebration of AAI’s history and to support future projects under the leadership of AAI’s second president, Dr. Diana Moss, the AAI launched its first-ever capital campaign in 2014. Over two years, the Campaign for the Future raised more than $200,000 to support three funds: the President’s Fund, the Bert Foer Research Fellowship Fund, and the Home Fund. Sherman Society
The AAI Sherman Society, named for the author of the Sherman Act, is composed of individuals who have made beneficial commitments to the AAI in their will or otherwise. A gift to the AAI through a retirement plan or life insurance policy is a simple and meaningful way to help ensure a strong future for competition enforcement and policy. Such a gift can be an effective and tax efficient way to increase the assets going to loved ones and charity. Learn more. (http://www.antitrustinstitute.org/content/sherman-society)
