Editor's Note: There are many ways to find information about specific cases and issues that are in the news. A number of web sources consistently cover and/or collect and archive a broad range of antitrust information, commentary and data, and are good places to start when looking for particular cases of interest, and for in-depth coverage.
Cases with national or international impact get more coverage from more sources. For matters with local or regional impact or importance, or with significance to a narrow segment of the public or the economy, web resources focusing on a local area or a particular industry should also be searched.
If a case is brought by a federal or state enforcement agency, you will often be able to get access to agency news releases and any pleadings or filings directly from the agency's web site. Filings and court documents may also be available on the web site of the court where a case is pending.
Because the Microsoft Antitrust Cases have attracted so much attention, we have included a short list of useful links in a special Microsoft section at the bottom of this Page.
