GATEWAYS to Antitrust RESOURCES

There are many "gateways" to the vast library of antitrust resources available on the internet. The following alphabetical list is by no means exhaustive, but includes a variety of portals and search engines that have organized extensive links and/or content for serious antitrust-related research. The choice between them will often be a subjective one, since most link to similar core resources.

About Antitrust (Cornell Law Library) - Links to many useful antitrust/competition-related resources, including searchable data bases of recent Supreme Court case syllabi (back to 1990) and full cases of recent Circuit Courts of Appeal; also, relevant U.S. Code sections, and links to state materials (including court decisions and statutes). Recommendations are also included for off-line antitrust materials (e.g., books).

The Antitrust Source - Sponsored by the ABA's Section of Anitrust Law, and begun in 2001, this on-line magazine is published 6 times a year, and "serves as your free on-line connection to the latest and best information in the world of antitrust," offering analysis and commentary on relevant topics.

FindLaw: Antitrust and Trade Regulation - FindLAW is aimed at attorneys, but much of the materials is readily usable by non-lawyers. This page has links to FindLAW-content (including summaries of the law, an antitrust attorney directory, a library of antitrust documents, and an antitrust Message board), as well as hyperlinks to many relevant databases, collections, and resources.

Georgetown University Law Library - Antitrust Research Page - This is a clear, compact directory, with many useful links for the user wanting more.

Hieros Gamos -- Antitrust and Unfair Competition Law Page - Entensive resources and links to USA and especially international sources and resources -- laws, regulations, cases, agencies, journals, etc..

LawResearch.com: Antitrust Law The LawResearch Antitrust Page has extensive links to antitrust-related resources, including government sites (US and foreign), associations, articles and publications, and legal topic research sites.

LexisOne Antitrust Research Page Aimed at small law firms, this no-fee compilation from Lexis has links to many antitrust practice resources, publications, statutes, caselaw, and more. It includes the editors' choice of the Top Ten Antitrust Cases, linked to FindLaw's text.

MegaLaw.com Antitrust Page - A compact list of antitrust resources on a site that says it is by lawyers and for lawyers.

The Virtual Chase: Antitrust Page The Antitrust and Monopoly Law section of the Virtual Chase Legal Research Guide is a useful compilation of sources related to antitrust law, enforcement, and policy, including annotated descriptions of a select group of Top Resources in the field. The Virtual Chase site, which "offers more than 600 pages of information pertaining to [internet] resources and research strategies" is sponsored by the law firm Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll, LLP, and is overseen by internet research maven Genie Tyburski.

The AntitrustProf Blog Launched in October, 2004, and edited by University of Buffalo Law School Professor Shubbah Ghosh, this weblog "is meant for professors teaching antitrust, students learning antitrust, and practitioners seeking information on recent developments in the law." Prof. Ghosh presents news and useful, expert commentary relating to important cases and issues, along with academic materials and other resources of interest to professors and practitioners.

Yahoo on Antitrust - This link opens onto Yahoo's dailynews page for Antitrust, with links to current and recent newspaper, magazine and journal articles; also includes a compact list of relevant web resources, plus a search function that uses several powerful search engines.

The Competition Law Scholars Forum promotes competition law scholarship, in the United Kingdom, the Member States of the European Union, and those states who may accede to the European Union.
